It's the year 50BC and I'm in the heart of Rome, the Eternal City. Everywhere I look I'm surrounded by the hustle and bustle of daily life. From the Colosseum to the Forum, it's a real-life epic!

The Colosseum

The Colosseum is the most magnificent structure in all of Rome and quite possibly the world. Built between 72-80AD, it was a symbol of power and grandeur. Its 50,000-seat auditorium was used for gladiatorial contests, public spectacles, and other events. It's a sight to behold!

The Forum

The Forum is Rome's most iconic public square and the focal point of daily life in the city. Built in 753BC, it was the center of public life for centuries. It was a place of political debate, religious ceremonies, and public meetings. It's where many of the most famous Roman leaders have made their mark.

Ancient Roman Cuisine
